Apply feminist critical theory to the above sequence from Busby Berkley’s 1941 Movie Ziegfield Girl

The subject of the film is the Ziegfield Follies — Broadway shows famous for their elaborate musical production numbers, beautiful women (Ziegfield Girls) and top entertainers. The Follies was the forerunner of the Berkley movies — and in this one, he pays homage.
